I'm really looking forward to October 11th. That should be a good matchup.

Im ready for Nov. 1 i cant wait to finally beat the noles in acc play!

That's a good looking schedule except the 11th but I will take it.

GT Kyle, I have a job for you. Go find some good games on Sept. 27th across the country. My posse and I are going to one of them but I'm to lazy to look myself.

I hoping CPJ can get our offense (and new defensive scheme) going quickly. If not we could be looking at a 1-3 start to the season. I'm hoping for 2-2. At least BC and VT won't have very much film to watch.

I think we should be in full swing by November though. I am looking forward to actually improving throughout the year.

VT's speed worries me but BC doesn't as they are breaking in a new QB.

The key to this year is having an excellent spring with minimal injuries. If we can start off training camp full speed I don't think it will take long for the O to start running smoothly.

I'm glad we have a week and a half off before ugag since they have two weeks.

BC is a huge game. We play half of our games before clemson which should allow us to get some synergy but 5-1 would be much better than 4-2 and 4-2 is a must as opposed to 3-3 before we head to Clemson. i persoanlly think BC will be the 10th best team in the ACC next year and tink we're catching them at a great time IF our offense is ready by then.

Anything better than .500 against that schedule would have to be considered a successful season...IMO.

If you don't absolutely despite Alabama (which I know many on this board do), you can go watch Bama take on Georgia in Athens. I come from a family of Bama fans, so getting to watch two teams beat Georgia at home should be fun. :fingersx:

nope, I only go to nadlickerville once every two years. That's enough for me.

Understandable. When my Dad first asked me to go, I told him two trips might be a few too many. But, since the weeks sync up so well, it's hard not to express my hate to them in person one extra time.

This early stretch will be huge. GT has to win one of these ..can't have an 0-2 start in conference with a loss to VT.

Sept 27 - UAB Blazer vs South Carolina - not exactly exciting but I'm going since its all of 2 minutes from my house.

Five wins, tops. Maybe only four.

Okey dokey, time to revisit the old Beej WinOMeter.

Aug. 28 Jacksonville State 0.9
Sept. 6 at Boston College 0.6
Sept. 13 at Virginia Tech 0.4
Sept. 20 Mississippi State 0.7
Oct. 4 Duke 0.9
Oct. 11 Gardner-Webb 1.0
Oct. 18 at Clemson 0.4
Oct. 25 Virginia 0.8
Nov. 1 Florida State 0.5
Nov. 8 at North Carolina 0.6
Nov. 20 Miami (Thu.) 0.5
Nov. 29 at Georgia 0.2

Based on the above percentage chances of winning, I expect 7.5 wins, 4.5 losses.

But then again, why break with tradition? Hehe.
