We know our talent is gonna be outmatched. Whether or not we look remotely competitive will be dependent on our caches ability to properly game plan and make adjustments.

I agree with Crew that Clemson can't score at will like they used to but we still need to get first downs to give our D some rest or things could spiral out of control early.

Georgia's offense will languish as long as Smart over recruits to the defense and is too afraid to give someone some autonomy on offense. Plus, Venables is a known sign stealer.
 
CU’s weakness is their OL and DJU doesn’t handle pressure well. If we scheme against that, we have a shot at being competitive. CU’s DL and LB’s are gonna’ have their way with our OL if they don’t gel real quick. Staying within 2-3 TD’s would be a moral victory, if you’re into that sort of culture.
 
Most good teams OL have four senior, four junior, 4 sophomores, and four freshman. We have two senior transfers, two senior recruited for a distinctly different offense, and 12 freshman.

Gibbs is special but he will have to stay four years to have a good OL to show off with (and be considered for the Heisman).
 
If Simms is ready he needs to get back out there I don’t care who we play, dude needs to gain some confidence and he was the bell cow in the off-season so prove it coaches

I agree with this. While I am happy Gibbs chose Tech, it is a surprising decision as it will likely cost him $$$ since he won't be able to showcase his capabilities to the full extent as if we were playing for, say, Ohio State.
 
Can’t prove it, but everybody knows it. Clemson has extended privileges and bonuses to their players and their families the same way the University of Georgia has. It’s just not an apples to apples comparison with GT anymore. And unfortunately, that’s unlikely to change before the end of my life. I wish so much the NFL would adopt a true minor-league football program that completely eliminates any “academic obligations” whatsoever, the same way MLB has.

Horseshit. Scouts and the NFL know how to evaluate talent. When did Walter Payton start for Ohio State or similar? Jerry Rice? Terrell Owens? Calvin Johnson?

Why would the NFL create and pay for a league when the colleges have and continue to do this for them for free? Throw in the NIL silliness and it is just cementing CFB as the semi-pro league for the NFL.
