Bringing the wr in tight is simply another alignment. For example, when we run the triple from that set it changes the angles but does not necessarily change assignments, though it might.
However, when we run the Zone Option the WR blocks down on the Bgap iiuc. So, we need the tight set for that play.
Still, you can't equate bringing the WR in tight with that play. So, unless you want CPJ to explain the role of the WR on every play, his answer was the simplest.
