When CPJ - or any future GT coach - can rely on having equal athletes on the field rather than scheme or misdirection, then maybe the coach can give deeper details to the press. Otherwise screw them.
What is the big deal? Being secretive is nothing unusual. Some coaches have GAs hold up sheets during games to keep lip readers at bay. It is not like Ken or Kelly is gonna help CPJ keep his job and neither has enough sway with public or the GTAA to hasten CPJ's demise.
Bottom line, if anyone is gonna hate on CPJ, please choose a more worthy fault of his than how he acts with reporters.
Did you know that 'non sequitur' was the ancient Roman name for the 'internet'?If you disagree please explain, as I'm not understanding the association of your responses.
CPJ wouldn’t hold a grudge, would he?

I hear he's a hoot on his golf cart w/ media and boosters. I'd wish he'd coach the qbs more. When he says he is going to get more involved, that position or group production skyrockets in the next game.
If the answer is as easy as "add more CPJ" why the heck hasn't he been adding more CPJ over the past 10 years?since practice is closed, I wonder how that happens.
After the I-AA championship game loss to UMass, when Southern gave up 55 points and lost and spoiled a perfect season, PJ said afterward, "I promise you we will be better on defense next season."
He got a lot more involved in the D the next year.
They gave up less than 20 points per game.
