To say upsets don’t happen “as a fact” tells me you are young. Every era has had their dominant teams. This era is no different with Bama and UGA. They aren’t sacred and it isn’t fact that they are unbeatable. No different than when Miami couldn’t lose to Penn State. Y’all are putting those two teams on a major pedestal and someone will knock them off. But again, those two schools are smart enough not to schedule games that put them at risk so they’ll waltz into a 4 team tourney where they can’t be upset. Some team will end this season on fire and get left out so no chance for an upset. Once the playoffs expand they’ll have their chance like we see in the hoops tourney. Right now, Cinderella doesn’t have a way to exist in college football and fans wonder why we never see upsets.
I am 59 years old, and I am not the least bit young. You are stilll living in a previous CFB world that I wish we still llived in.
I am not saying that favored teams can't lose. All I am saying is the top 2-3 teams right now are HEAD AND SHOULDERS above the rest. The CFP has pretty much proven that the past couple of years. I am hoping that more teams can compete via NIL, although I know we probably cannot, so that UGAG and Bammer won't dominate like they are doing right now.
