I want to be excited but we've whiffed too many times in recent years on these kickers.

I sat in the upper north last year and watched our kickers warm up pregame with no rush. This guy looks better from 60 yards than our guys did from the 20 yard line pregame.
don’t get me wrong, he may be a bust too. I don’t know öööö. YMMV. But I’ve got my fingers crossed. We have got to improve our place kicking.

Why didn't the other team rush? Is that common on long FGs in HS? Seems like you'd at least get in a stance to at least give the snapper and kicker some mental rush.
 
Wow. The ball was about 15 feet above the cross bar when it cleared.
