2008 Official Season Prediction Thread

Too many questions in too many areas this yr.Just expect them to get better through the season and next yr. Hope for 6-6.
 
I say this year could be great. I too haven't had too many post but I keep up with GT Football more than i keep up with family. Those of you who are basing this years record on how we played in the spring aren't to bright IMO. Think long and hard about it 1. they only had a couple weeks of practice in this offense and 2. have yall thought about the reason it might not have look all that great is because the defense had been practicing against this offense the whole time so they knew what was coming? So that makes my fist point. in my second point Chan Gailey won on average at least 7 games a year, true we have a lot of young players but our young players are a lot better than the young players he had in his 7 win seasons. recruiting has taken a step up IMO in the last couple years. I believe 7 wins is not impossible, if not more!!! PJ will bring an exciting offense and he will turn heads. he hasn't went anywhere without winning.



Let the bashing start, I don't care its my own opinion and yall say what you got too but i just got tired of hearing the pessimistic view of everything. your all GT fans for crying out loud. HAVE A LITTLE FAITH. The high school I went too won 4 or 5 games a year if that and every year i was in the stands every game thinkin "this is gonna be the year" " this is gonna be the a good game" so don't make bad judgment until you have something to judge. TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!!!! CAUSE I'M A RAMBLIN' WRECK FROM GEORGIA TECH AND A HELLUVA ENGINEER

I was just being honest. You don't have to like my answer, but it has nothing to do with the number of posts in this case. I pull for the Jackets with all I've got every Saturday.

Don't be bullied--you are realisitic and the other posters on this board are not. You have a prediction and you have a good arguement to support it. I, too, would like to see 13-0, but I've never seen it yet. I was born the year my dad graduated from Tech--1950-and have not seen the 13-0 record yet.
 
Gold T, hang in there.

I was thinking 7-5 and maybe a bowl bid, but now that I've seen those uniforms, I'm thinking 3-9 also.
 
Keep in mind 6-6 with the 2 DI-AA victories is not sufficient to be bowl eligible. We will have to go 7-5 to go bowling.

Personally, I'm with the posters who say we could have anywhere between 3 and 9 wins.
