For being the State university “flagship,” their fan support is abysmal.

This is a gigantic miss. This kid checks all the boxes. We can offer near immediate, guaranteed playing time due to position need.

This one of those situations that we just can't overcome. It came down to Auburn, AL, Chapel Hill, NC, and Midtown Atlanta.

Which location doesn't fit with the other 2?

As you pointed out, we have the best opportunity for a high quality OT to get on the field immediately.

BUT, the kid just didn't want to go to Tech. Our campus and our location obviously was not to his liking.

Unfortunate? yes. A gigantic miss? Absolutely not!

There are enough kids out there who think our campus and location is the best thing since sliced bread and we WILL end up with an OL class with kids of similar ability.
