I’d expect radio silence until Wednesday.

First, Gibbs is a pretty low key guy. He has posted a minimal amount on twitter during the entire recruiting process.

Second, this close to signing day I’d expect our coaches to play up a DECISION, then put out a video or live-stream of them reacting when he chooses Tech.
 
Davis appears Tallahassee bound, per the crystal balls following his visit.

All quiet on the Gibbs front. I suspect that isn't a bad thing. I dont detect excitement among the Florida folks. Status quo is good for us here.

I wouldn’t lose sleep over it regardless. Frustrating our guys were on him and FSU was able to swoop in during the last week and (allegedly) nab him. Nothing much we can really do at this point...already have used OV and in home. We’ll just see where it falls.

Maybe it opens up a slot to take another transfer.

Probably the best news is that Davis did not commit while on his OV to FSU, just as Gibbs didn't flip while on his OV to Florida.

Davis has a good relationship with Marco. I still think we've got the edge but getting the last OV is a big deal.

FSU was never his "dream school." As architorture said, him not committing while on his OV is a good sign. Once the post visit high wears off he may realize GT is the place to be. Also, FSU analysts are extreme homers and think they "got" every person that visits. I wouldn't read much into their predictions and CB's.

Yeah. uncharacteristic Downer-ness from me, here and reading too much into it, maybe. Davis himself says he is 50-50.

Doesn’t really mean anything. Davis just wants a hat show I assume.
 
I wonder if this means there will be no scholarship kickers? Obviously Harvin has earned his, but the PK and KO roles have left a lot to be desired.
