2020 Recruiting

Complaining that we are excited about how we are doing early because we will drop later is counterproductive and assumes too much about an unknown future.
It may be counterproductive, but what is being mentioned is facts, not assumptions and most of what is being said is based entirely in the present.

lol... about 90 minutes ago, GT had the #10 class in the country, 1 spot above UGA, as a result of our 12th commitment. Now, UGA's average rating has been increased just enough that we flipped to #11 and them to #10. I'm sure a very neutral party reviewed a lot of tape to make that judgment call around lunchtime today.

Tells you all you need to know about how these services make and market their product.

Gosh, people complained when PJ didn’t sign them early enough and now they are complaining about too early. Our commits are wanted by other top schools or they fill a desperate need. We are doing great; they’ve been on the job four months!
Nobody is certain until the letters are signed. But the "commits" drama helps to identify the movement in the talent pool. It is moving our way for sure. Still only marginal better than the last five or six classes (based on stars & offer lists) but the kids are bigger and there aren't 17 A-backs and two ATH's.

We also aren't accustomed to being over halfway done by April. The freedom to wait for our preferred remaining targets and shift resources to 2021 is huge.
