Any idea when the opponent for the 2021 game at MBS will be announced? Also, any speculation as to who it might be?

No clue when it will be announced.
My guess is Virginia Tech since I think they travel better than most of the other teams we play at home that year. Kennesaw could be a dark horse candidate. It lacks the national recognition, but being an Atlanta area school and all...
Schedule for reference:

Oh, or Georgia? Can't remember if those games were off limits or not for this deal. Personally, that would be about my last choice, but there's no doubt the tickets would sell.
According to the ESPN article, the UGA game is not up for discussion according to Stansbury. I was kinda hoping either the 2021 or 2023 game would be against Auburn and renew that long time rivalry.
That would be dope. I just realized we still have an open slot that year, so I could see something like that happening.
Why would we schedule Kennesaw State?
Tech has Clemson, Georgia and ND that year. You guys really want to schedule yourselves right down to 7-5 ceilings every year?Maybe we can pick up a fourth OOC game to play there. SC, AUB, FLA, UK, TENN. Or hell, schedule a one-off with FSU. Rather not just burn a conference home game every year at a neutral site

I would rather play good teams that spark some interest than brag about a great record against a bunch of shit teamsTech has Clemson, Georgia and ND that year. You guys really want to schedule yourselves right down to 7-5 ceilings every year?

As long as the permanent crossover is there, we are at a disadvantage to our coastal opponents. You've got to schedule OOC for wins like everyone else does.
When CPJ started in ‘08 having Clemson as the crossover was great. And after they get investigated it’ll be that way again.
