He wasn’t able to sign. There were some issues that had to be worked out first. They’ve been worked out now. I have no idea what those issues were.

Not really drama. His being made official was never really in doubt. Was just a matter of the timing of getting a particular test score back. Why it took so long, I dunno. Standardized testing requirements differ between states now, I guess. And it seemed like his offer came relatively late.

Sure, it's only part of the picture, but all else being equal I'll take the 330 lbs lineman over the 290 lbs lineman.

Mason is listed at 6'1" 310 lbs

not a lot of difference, Mason is relatively short so he is a guard, in fact most of the ht/wt diff probably comes from mixing tackles and guards
