Desmond Branch came to Tech from a JUCO but it probably helped that he spent one year at a University first.

Tech has the same transfer admissions policy from a JuCo as it does from a university (once you hit 30 post secondary credits you switch to that process. Doesn’t matter if those 30 credits were earned at MIT or Georgia Perimeter).

It’s an easier admissions process but you need to have passed specific courses. So either you planned to come to Tech and scheduled the right classes or got lucky.
