You can never have too many big offensive linemen.
The pipeline seems to be real. This would be number three.
Texas A&M has something like 26 players in the portal. Someone could build a competitive team with the players they have leaving. We need to plan ahead and let Jimbo know who we would like for him to recruit for us next year and the year after.
Too bad Jimbo couldn’t.Texas A&M has something like 26 players in the portal. Someone could build a competitive team with the players they have leaving.
I honestly think Chase Lane bought into the program and now he’s advocating as the biggest recruiter for Tech rn. Just take a look at his twitter page. All he’s done is draw his former TAMU teammates to here.Too bad Jimbo couldn’t.
In all seriousness, I’m wondering why A&M? I could see a kid or two getting homesick that lived near Atlanta, but these are guys from all over
No stars, we’re his only listed offer. Wonder what Key is cooking here.
I hope so, but what this looks like is a very good effort to “salvage” and the 2023 class. We will really be able to tell in the 2024 class. It appears Coach Key is a much better recruiter than his incompetent predecessor.
It’s freaking awesome.I honestly think Chase Lane bought into the program and now he’s advocating as the biggest recruiter for Tech rn. Just take a look at his twitter page. All he’s done is draw his former TAMU teammates to here.
You got it. Stainsberry sealed the deal when he allowed clown year 4 to happen.I hope so, but what this looks like is a very good effort to “salvage” and the 2023 class. We will really be able to tell in the 2024 class.
Grades?How did we not offer?
Dude…How did we not offer?
Agree. Don't want to be a wet blanket, and I think we may hold our own in the transfer portal when all is said and done. But unless the staff has a something up their sleeve, it looks like a disappointing high school signing class overall. Yeah recruiting rankings are imperfect, and there are exceptions, and all that -- but go back a long way and there is a strong correlation overall to recruiting rankings and overall rankings. Including at GT, where our most talented class on the field was definitely our highest ranked (and it wasn't even close). Our highest ranked in-state recruit is Gabe Fortson who comes at #77 in the state. I dont view the site rankings as gospel, but that cannot continue if we want to be successful. Cannot let this trend continue. Can't remember the last time we didn't snag a top-75 GA recrtuit...

I understand that we have a new staff that had little time to make up for doofus, but I really hope to see more of the state's best at least entertaining th thought of coming to school here next class and the ones coming up.

This is what happens when you let the AD hang on to a coach who has clearly failed and is a dead man walking. I would expect recruiting to improve for 2024.Our highest ranked in-state recruit is Gabe Fortson who comes at #77 in the state. A proven exciting offense will help bring in players.Just need that one recruit to open that door!
I thought the reason we brought in Watson to handle recruiting was because he had contacts all over the stateOur highest ranked in-state recruit is Gabe Fortson who comes at #77 in the state.
