Does it upset you that we ran the TO several times this season, and did so effectively?

We ran the read option and speed option out of shotgun. Not sure that I ever saw the triple option.

So what are you insinuating based upon these magical seasons under Gailey? That he was a good coach for GT, great coach, or HOF worthy? Remind me again how many times he beat Uga, how many Coastal and ACC championships he won, and how many BCS/NY6 bowl games he went to and won?

Also you do realize that the whole defensive familiarity with a scheme leading to improved competency defending it theory applies to all offensive systems right? So when we choose to run an “NFL style spread” like 95% of the nation, whose teams practice against it every single day, what gives you cause for optimism that it’ll actually be successful this time and lead to the above mentioned highs? And if the answer is “better players” I look forward to the glorious years when we start recruiting better talent than Clemson, Uga, Miami, etc who run and practice against the same said offense.

If you paid any attention to the last 3 years, you'd realize that "2014" and wins over uga were not coming back and we were only slipping further behind even the lousy Coastal teams in talent. It was fun while it lasted but it was done. Get over it. CPJ knew it himself, to his credit, and did the right thing.
