I'm thinking we'll go 8-4.

If, and it’s a big if, we grow as a program and can play with the same intensity against every opponent every week, then Thanksgiving weekend is the one game I shrug my shoulders at 11 months in advance. I don’t say that to imply I don’t think we’ll win. Because we will. But it’ll be the best opponent we face. The other 11 games are better than 50% chance we win in my biased mind.

Not sure what you’re saying. Yes, it is my opinion that the Birmingham Bowl on Dec 27 in the middle of a work day is a meaningless game. As in, the outcome of the game has absolutely no impact on the program’s trajectory or my optimism surrounding the program, the coaching staff, and the roster.

Thought we were talking about the regular season. So you think we’ll lose a tie breaker to another undefeated ACC team and be left out of the ACCCG, then get a first round bye and then win our 3 playoff games? I don’t hate the idea.
