2025 Recruiting

Isn’t that the same thing all schools (bags of NIL $$) are doing including GT? That was the report by On3 and others earlier this summer when the 5* OL committed. All part of the recruiting game now. All out in the open.

Biggest thing at this point is keeping the 4*’s GT has committed. There are a few taking visits elsewhere, including to tOSU.

Look at the 5* QB commit to LSU. Rumor is, Michigan is offering $2 million to switch.

Very good round table discussion (10 minutes) on the current GT recruiting class from 247.

Georgia Tech bolstered its defense Saturday with a commitment from the state of New York.
Blake Belin, a 6-foot-2, 280-pound defensive lineman, announced his pledge to Tech via his social-media channels. Belin is considered a three-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite and chose Tech over Duke, Virginia, Syracuse and Wake Forest.
Playing at Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, New York, Belin reportedly has picked up more than a dozen scholarship offers. He took an official recruiting visit to Tech in June.
This season, Belin has been credited with 31 tackles (three for a loss). Belin had 60 tackles as a junior and seven sacks and registered a safety in a 30-29 win over Iona Prep in November. His efforts throughout the season helped Hayes win the 2023 New York State Catholic High School state championship.
Belin’s brother Henry Belin IV is a sophomore quarterback at Duke and brother Rich Belin committed to Syracuse as part of the Orange’s 2025 signing class.
Tech’s recruiting class now ranks 17th nationally and second in the ACC.

That’s good news. What timing that is right after a DL decommitted yesterday.

Got to hold onto the 3 4* players reportedly who are on the fence right now of going elsewhere.

Dinkins flipped to the gaggers. Ugh.
says "the atmosphere is just different. The fan base is great and the atmosphere is unmatched."

We better hope he doesn't start texting or DM'ing some of our other big time recruits.

Or he could just tell the whole truth and say, "the paycheck is just different. The Dodge Challenger, no rules, not having to go to class, and no accountability is unmatched."

It could be "the fan base is great" means "they coughed up the cash for this new Audi"
and "the atmosphere is unmatched" means "damn, this thing will do 100 up and down Milledge!"

The GT staff better find a way to stop leaking oil soon. 3 GT commits visiting South Carolina this weekend.

I don't want any recruit that would seriously entertain an offer from South Carolina.

Yes, I said that.
