2025 Recruiting

Have you guys seen our backup punter? Our section was watching our punters warm up, the backup was punting it 10-20 yards farther than starter every time. We were baffled as to why our backup was a backup
I was watching that and wondering why we hadn't seen that guy yet.

When previously discussed the story from the stands was that for every 3 boomers the backup punter got off, he shanked one OB. I have no first person observations to confirm or deny.

My focus is ensuring we have a quality punter next season. This seems like an area where a reasonable NIL investment could provide a significant payback.

I noticed that as well. Good height too.

Damn, that's a sharp group of kids right there. All had something very positive to say, and clearly had an amazing time.

Lots of credit to the students, which was awesome. The frat bros were lit, shirts off, waiving them in the air like terrible towels!

The kid that switched from Tech to UGA said atmosphere at games was a major reason he switched. Almost every Tech committed recruit was quoted as saying how amazing the atmosphere was at yesterday's game. Love it!!

And word has it that Sam Turner, who recently flipped to Awburn, was at the game and also attended a practice this week.
Odd behavior for someone who recently spurned us for the dumpster fire on the Plains.

easy fix -after every 3 punts, aim for the stands from the sideline and punt a souvenir!

I assume we had several recruits in attendance yesterday? That’s fairly common for all home games, but especially homecoming.

There was an entire (albeit small) section of them right next to the student section. Couldn't really draw it up any better outside of maybe having a later kickoff -- but once the crowd got going the energy was incredible despite the time.

That is great.

"Want atmosphere? Come here and ball out with people like you and see what you get."
