2025 Recruiting

We need a LB or two!
We have alot of underclassmen at LB for sure if we don't get any solid pick-ups in recruiting this season I am sure it will be a focus next year. We got some quality players returning most likely.

Kyle Efford, Tah'j Butler, EJ Lightsey, Jackson Hamilton are all guys who would expect to be in regular playing time rotation next year. We got several freshman that will get the redshirt label probably from last year's recruiting cycle as well. We may need to look in the Portal for 1 more experienced solid addition.

Should we be concerned that a DB commit is out visiting and another DB is projected to flip our way?

Not sure on that one. I don’t have access to read the 247 article. From all accounts he’s solid, but anything can happen on an OV right before NSD.

GT adding the potential DB flip is probably more out of need anyway. The secondary needs improvement/depth.

Day full of recruiting information it seems. Rivals.com ACC NSD primer. There is a chance GT could end up with #2 ACC class, and arguably the best OL class in the country with 1 potential addition.

Coach Peoples really likes Elgin Sessions.

Penson still feels solid, especially with Lincoln Riley's seat searing hot.

USC was just put on probation, too.
If you mean this? OK…..And what exactly is the punishment here? A $50,000 fine? I think you know as much as anyone, the NCAA is limited to anything they can do that will impact recruiting, etc.

Riley isn’t going anywhere. There are $90 million reasons why. Same reason why FSU has $64 million reasons why they can’t get rid of Norvell. That said, both are in sort of the same situation. They really need to finish strong on the trail and in the Portal. USC is a mixed bag of new commits and decommits. FSU is not doing well at all right now…The mass decommits may be a big addition to GT.

I understand the probation is an ant bite to USC but its enough to use in the context of seeding doubt in the mind of a recruit if you know what I mean.

Someone please give me some great recruiting or portal news to help me heal from last night
