That must have been before Petty signed.Around 23rd nationally, 4th in ACC last I checked.
Maybe they will get a little preview of practice next year. From the AJC ---

I could be wrong but think it's based on commitments not signees. That must have been before Petty signed.
I’m pretty sure that once signing day began the rankings were computed based on faxes received.I could be wrong but think it's based on commitments not signees.
Just checked:
24/7: 18th (2nd ACC)
ESPN: paywalled
On3: 23rd (3rd ACC)
Rivals: 22nd (2nd ACC)
Let’s all be PETTY for a few years…I believe they were being...petty.
So half of our incoming class gets the benefit of spring practice.Another great thing about this class, 12/23 are early enrollees.
Barr, Belin, Brice, Canales, Fuller, Garrett, Harris, Norris, Peay, Petty, Powell, and Sessions.
We used to not even get bowl practices. So half of our incoming class gets the benefit of spring practice.
Could this be going any better
Tech FUCKSAnother great thing about this class, 12/23 are early enrollees.
Barr, Belin, Brice, Canales, Fuller, Garrett, Harris, Norris, Peay, Petty, Powell, and Sessions.
Well if I am reading it right the early list includes 4 of the DT/DEs, so yes!So half of our incoming class gets the benefit of spring practice.
Could this be going any better
Boom Let's Go! Petty is signed.

Pretty sure this was Key and his coaching staff.See, prayer works!
From the AJC ---
Josh Petty, a four-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite, officially signed his scholarship papers to play football for Georgia Tech in 2025, his father James Petty confirmed to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Thursday night. Tech officially announced the signing as well.
A senior at Fellowship Christian School in Roswell, Petty is Tech’s final signee of the early signing period and gives Tech 23 signees toward the 2025 recruiting class. The class is ranked 18th nationally and second among ACC programs.
“The bigger piece for me was the consistency,” Petty told GBP Sports on Wednesday about his reasoning for committing to Tech. “A lot of teams are very weird about recruiting and they’ll go off and on and they’ll have moments where they’re on you hard and then they’re off. But I just knew Tech wanted me hard and they’ve been recruiting me consistently, showing me the same things and their actions have spoke with their words this year and it’s kind of great to see that program come together and get a good season like this year.”
Petty did not sign Wednesday, the first possible day high school seniors could sign to play college football. James Petty told the AJC earlier Thursday that Petty and Tech were, “still working through contractual language.”
A 6-foot-5 tackle who told GBP Sports he now weights 265 pounds, Petty is considered a top-10 prospect in the state of Georgia and top-10 offensive tackle nationally. He reportedly was offered a scholarship by more than 40 schools and plans to enroll at Tech in January.

Pretty sure their faith was tested. I'm sure ours was too. You could look at the feed the past 48 hours to see, if you forgot.Pretty sure this was Key and his coaching staff.
