4th best attribute: catch radius for his size. Strong hands. Goes to get the ball. Plus body control when he does.
3rd best attribute: vision with ball in his hands. He'd be our best A-back since Roddy if we still did that.
2nd best attribute: balance. Elite balance. That helps in many aspects of football. On special teams, he would not stay blocked because of it. He could prolly play defense comfortably. When opponents tackle him, they better stay on the play until the whistle and not assume a knee is going to touch, or the next sound they hear will be the crowd ooo-ing and ahhh-ing.
Best attribute: Toughness for his size, and attitude. On the field in all sorts of packages on special teams and even defense. I predict he will wear a single digit at some point while here and turn out to be a team leader during winter workouts. Great teammate. On this aspect alone, I would rather have N8 than Downs.
Other comments: I can't judge speed by HS film, cuz high schoolers have ability gaps. I just know he was fastest of his teammates downfield on KO coverage. When he was caught from behind, he was not in full stride. Otherwise, he would cut and zoom and he was gone. Seems to do a good job of finding soft spots in zones. A bit concerned that I did not see him work the middle of the field on patterns or run short patterns that relied on elusiveness. He either sat in zone, ran deep, or was given the ball in space and told to create. Not saying he is not elusive in his route cuts. I am saying I'd be happier if I saw it.
