Yeah this is nuts. The FSU win must've really built excitement with the recruits. The positive media attention the last several weeks has helped too. Even though I don't like the AJC, it seems like it too has even been putting out more pro-GT material lately. I guess even though we have the same record as UGAg, we are blowing expectations away, while they are just blowing.

The FSU game HAD to be huge for recruits. The game itself and the stadium energy were out of this world.
Oh, and so much for PJ not being able to recruit WRs. Ha!
Only 2 schools with the same amount of commits is currently ranked higher than us on Scout. Nice PJ. If it's not obvious what's about to happen here to these kids, then we prolly don't want em!

On that note, GT is currently 25th per scout if you rank the teams based on average star rating. For whatever thats worth.
Not bad at all for a guy that can't recruit.

Wow!!! I'm so happy! GT is in the midst of a recruiting landslide! Let's have Jonathan Davis, Gillard, Cross, Myles and Hood commit and finish out the week! Anything seems possible now.

Actually the day he was hired, I was very optimistic on his ability to recruit the south. WR's were my only question, but now that is out the door.

I was sold from day one on that, and on everything else with PJ for that matter, he's the kind of coach Tech needs.
As far as recruiting goes, think about how many guys on his GSU teams during 1980whatever through 2001 are currently coaching HS ball somewhere in the state. Big impact immediately, and much bigger impacts to come. We'll be getting ours from here on out, no question.

My initial reaction - Will we ever fully utilize the talents of a four star WR in the TO? But then I thought of what a huge factor BeBe is (when we can get him the ball) in keeping defenses honest.
Of course, CPJ may have another position in the backfield in mind for him....
