Hey just heard on 790 thezone...that GT will hold a press conference at 5:30 to make the announcement...just wanted to pass it along.:biggthumpup:

Know if it's going to be on any of the local tv stations? I want to see it, not just hear it!

hey I am just passing along what was said per the host on 790 so don't BASH me if it doesn't happen as they've said...a bit gun shy at this point myself...lol

Funny thing about 5:30 is that this is about the time that the already pitiful 790 signal drops in strength. I hope that it will be carried by local tv stations.
 
I heard that too, it should be at least broadcast on 790, if you happen to live within 100 yards of the signal tower you should be able to hear it then.
 
I'm in South Florida and pick up 790 just fine....I'm listening to it now...on the internet.

790 doesn't work 790 yards from their own office at 5:30? We're noy paying our head coach the top 15 in the country and we don't have a radio station that can carry it?

I assume Channle 11 will carry it live.

I wouldn't be surprised if WREK radio carried it as well, 91.1 FM.

It may interrupt their regularly scheduled programming, The Pan-Arabian Hip-Hop Hour, but there's any opportunity cost for everything in life.

Fridays at 5:30 is the blues show, Friday Night Fish Fry.

I'm friends with the guy who does "Kosher Noise" on Mondays. We went to high school together.

I thought about trying to get the gig doing GT baseball broadcasts on WREK this season but never really looked into it at all.
 
I'm going to try and make it if I can. We need to show support immediately and make sure he knows "What's the good Word"
 
I'm assuming this will be on 790 as well? I'm trying to time my day so that I can be in the car to hear it.
 
Man I'd pay to have DRad ask PJ "What's the good word?" and have PJ answer "TO HELL WITH GEORGIA!"

You want excitement in the fan base? That would about do it.
