9 wins out of 30

I don't feel sorry in the least for TStan, he needs to join the unemployment line with Collins, Key, Thacker, and P'Nut Monday morning.
Amen, brother! I would like to put all of them on a Greyhound bus and send them back from which they came. There is NO excuse for Tech to play so poorly. These coaches get paid a large sum of money to be incompetent at their job. That's insane! Our AD chose to give an unproven head coach a 7 year contract to lead our football program. Todd Stansbury needs to be held accountable for that bad decision. All the people Supersize mentioned above need to pack their bags and leave from Tech. Unfortunately, that won't happen anytime soon.

After the North Carolina win this year, I had false hope that maybe these coaches might be able to turn things around. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case. It's a shame, but true.

GO JACKETS!

Still don’t understand why he got 7 years in lieu of 5? Then again the basketball under CJP wasn’t looking good until his 5 year. Not sure if it is sustainable, Virginia by far the best in the conference had to forfeit for us the get the ACC championship.

We haven't had a 3-year streak of 3 or less wins per season since 1929-1931. Almost 100 years. Let that sink in.
Tech will win one or two of the next three, prevent that catastrophe, and earn Collins another 6 years on his contract. Allowing him to improve win totals to 5 wins every year so long as he beats Duke every year.

CGC is going nowhere. I'd bet that one of Pnope, Thacker or Key won't be back in 2022.

If they are all kept, CGC will likely not be here in 2023. This is a horrible staff.
All those guys will still be at Tech. Sacrificial lambs will be guys like Marco Coleman or Nathan Burton.

wow - I feel sorry for Stansbury but his money woes are about to get worse
He will be fine. The program will go deeper into financial ruin if our fans have their way. We want to behave like we have Texas Longhorn money and we don't.

They aren't lambs, snowflake, they are coaches and should know what the gig entails. Im sure a dumbass like you would probably be bewildered by the process

No it wasn’t. He’s never been better than CPJ’s worst season here and we were 1-6 in 1 possession games that year.
He's literally had 1 season with whatever you would call that talent we put on the field in 2019, one with a freshman QB and RB who had about two weeks of fall ball to prep, and now this season.

CPJ should be ashamed of the state this program was in when he left talent wise. We were recruiting mediocre FCS talent at the end.

Why focus on the coordinators? At least they have more coaching experience prior to coming here than the rest of the staff.

I like the notion that we were running some sort of "RPO" under PJ. When you have a total of 44 pass attempts (as we did in either 17 or 18), it ain't no "Run Pass Option". It was more of a "Taquon QB Keeper Option".

PJ's offense and recruiting all went into the ööööter and that's what CGC inherited. He didn't get the nickname "PJLazy" accidentally.

Frankly though, I still don't think that's an excuse to be as poor across the OL as we still are. I see Simms and the backs/receivers making progress. Hell, even the kicker has improved. But the D & OL are regressing.

I’m not asking for much. Just 4 wins in a season.

I am afraid the de commits and transfers may start soon and accelerate. If that happens, things may get even worse (that is painful to envision).

Collins' sales skills are going to be pushed to the limit over the next few months. Our quality players and recruits will be targeted by other schools. I agree with the new transfer rule but it will make it easier for our players to leave.
