90% Chance of Rain Friday and Saturday…

In the past this has usually played in our favor. Hopefully it will neutralize their great athletes at the skill positions. It then becomes trench warfare which I realize they are massive along the LOS but just maybe that old pigskin will be more slippery when they have the ball.
The first bad weather games that pop in my mind are 1974 and 1976, but it seems like we had one with CPJ and we took a 21 point lead but could not hold on. Oh … and 2008!

Not sure what forecast you're looking at. Looks like perfect weather Saturday in Athens.

27-3 at the half in 2000. Easily the best half of football I've ever seen us play against the mongrels. We coasted in the 2nd half but completely outclassed them in every phase that day.

Similar to 1984, my first GT-UGA game in Athens. Tech was up 35-6 midway through the third. I was sitting in club level and, with exception to the 1991 Citrus Bowl, the most fun I’ve ever had watching any Tech game in person.

Same for me, not club level though, we did manage to take some hedges of course. The amazing thing is that I can actually remember most of it.

Yep, earlier this week the weather forecast was showing 90% chance of rain and got my hopes up. I was thinking 1974 all over again.
