Things are ugly now in all aspects, no doubt about it. And it can't be good for recruiting.

I do wonder what schools he turned down though that were still filling every seat after consecutive three win seasons.
 
Schools will draw some percentage of alums because of loyalty to the school. Outside of that you need to sell the program through results to bring in sidewalk fans. I find many of those type fans more loyal (good and bad sometimes) to GT than most other schools.

When you get to a point where you feel the school isn’t supporting the program the problems begin. “Georgia Tech is a seven win program” Braine-Clough. Can’t get in touch with the AD (Johnson—Bobinski) or you build a staff mainly out of low experience guys who aren’t making much compared to the programs we wish to be competing with (Stansbury-Collins).

People get tired of spending time and money when you get on average low or middling results. Investing in mediocrity is not well tolerated in any arena. It just so happens football falls under entertainment. There has been one entertaining game this year and very few fora while now. This will not be well received but not every ugag season ticket holder is a mouth breathing idiot. They have a better product to sell.

Yes, I read that yesterday. We have fans who find glee in complaining and being the squeakiest damn wheels possible. Several of you are on here and claim "durr...recruits don't read blogs and message boards"...well, assholes, parents of our players do. Ivey is a damn stud and it would be a huge loss if he just said "you know what? öööö these people, I'm outta here" and portled to somewhere without cheapskate, pansy ass, little loser nerd fans who believe they are arm chair AD's who could turn us into Alaööööingbama in 3 years or wholesale changes need to be made. Good God, I ööööing want to just punch some of you goddamn pussies.

She’s not wrong. The problem is that the fans aren’t wrong either. Something is rotten with this team and the coaching it is receiving. There are spots where it can be blamed on prior staff (OL and O performance resulting therefrom) but other stuff (secondary) seems 100% the blame of either this staff or the players. Fans are frustrated and they should be. It looks like the players and parents are frustrated too. They should be. Tech is better than this.

A recruit or player doesn't give a flying frog's ass about a whiney anonymous fan like your bitch ass getting criticism. They care that assholes like you are constantly chanting fire the coach and then don't show up to games or buy season tickets until "things get better". You ööööing little bitch.

I’ve NEVER said anything about firing any coaches, but I have said that it’s time for them to start figuring stuff out.

I’ve had season tickets for decades and haven’t missed a single home game. Outside of Covid, I’ve only missed a handful of ROAD games over those same decades. I show up to the games, I cheer for the team, and I come here and discuss what I saw.

You’re just some angry white trash whose only recourse is to lash out at strangers on the internet. I dunno if it’s funny or sad.
