Coach Johnson is a very good coach but to compare him to Dodd is a bit of a reach. On the day of the game, there is no one I would rather have coaching my team. Sitting in a five star recruit's living room to close the deal, not so much. Just my two cents.

Man you guys are seriously delusional if you can't recognize how uncanny the feats of CPJ have been. Bobby Dodd level accomplishments and you just look the other way

Spoiler alert: Bad news for CPJ fans. His 5 year trend is decidedly downward.

But otherwise it is silly to compare CPJ to Dodd for many different reasons. Better to compare him to CCG since that is who he replaced.

And Dodd got to play CU & AU at home almost every single year. Also about as scared to play lsu & the Miss schools as Dooley was to play ut & bama.

So, in '59 Dodd took Tech to the Gator Bowl at 6-4 and was ranked #3. That was a different era.
