AB enters the transfer portal

Yes I do because he was able to take mental reps and learn the speed of the game behind another more experienced QB. Frank’s wasn’t a bad QB, he just blew out his ACL twice
That is pure BS. Franks was and is a below average QB. I must say it again . . . NOT a consistently accurate passer. Literally from the MOMENT Trask replaced him you could see that the entire Gator team was substantially better. Trask is a consistently accurate passer AND has now developed into a team leader - as was Franks and the only reason I could see him starting over Trask. Mullen totally blew it having Trask sitting behind Franks.

And Trask was a better QB than Graham out of HS. Literally no other D1 school wanted Graham at QB.
Trask never started a single HS game after his freshman year and he luck-boxed his way to Florida. Nobody (even Mullen) really wanted him either. 2123rd ranked player in his class. His other offers were Houston Baptist, Lamar and McNeese State. If Franks doesn't get injured, UF is probably 6-3 right now. It was an unbelievable case of luck meets luck.

Anyone dissing Brown has forgotten his best receiving attribute was his ability to adjust to the ball in the air. (and of course his speed). He caught a bunch of off target passes. He will be missed. I wish him the best where ever he ends up and hope his family’s health situation improves. This COVID year has been difficult for a whole bunch of reasons. We’ve had players transferring both in and out because if it. The fact is that we still have a very young team and needed the experience of playing this year more than most teams.

Putting air under the ball and allowing your receiver to adjust to it is the key to the deep ball. That’s what Sims has to learn. The balance between giving the receiver time to adjust, but not so much time the defense can make a play on it. Right now, Sims deepball is too flat.

Hate that Brown is leaving. Attrition is going to be high with losing seasons. Good players will have little patience wasting years with no Bowls and little recognition.

AB was a recruit that Collins went after hard when he became coach and now he’s leaving. Are we going to see more Collins guys transferring out and become a transfer school? Wth is going on?
It's just modern CFB. Every team has the portal monster to deal with, except maybe Bama and the bag men.

Also no matter what the reasons are, it’s not a good look that your best wide receiver wants out.

So if he is transfering to be close to home he will enroll at USF correct? So we will soon find out if he broke up with the staff nice by saying he was transfering for hardship but then signing with say Miss St.... Or he indeed has family issues and heads home to Tampa and plays for USF.

Time will tell
