Might have been Eric McLean,former Clemson D lineman. Usually,if he is not pro GT, he gives us a fair shake.
 
Tom has always seemed to have a grudge against Tech at least from the CPJ days on. I wasn't around when he played so I don't know much about that time but honestly I can't recall him ever saying anything positive about Tech.

Packer has also been pretty upset about the fumble call but he will try and recorrect afterwards and say they should have just taken a knee. Either way you can tell he is upset Tech won and prevented an undefeated UNC vs UM game.
 
Luganbill was a student-athlete here - as I recall, he transferred here from some California beach school.

I don't think he has it in for Tech but I don't think he bleeds White and Gold either. I mean can anyone name even one sports personality that thought GT had a chance? Anybody want to go back and check the StinGTalk pole? But we expect a sports dude to go all-in on Tech when 80+ % of this board predicted a loss?

Let’s face it. Tom Dooganbil cares as much about GT as Jeff Sims will. Tom was a QB under Bill Lewis and Jeff was a QB under G**** C******. It is what it is.

It's more than that. Luginbill was a JC All-American, who led his team to an 11-0 record and set passing records. B*** L**** brought him in and immediately installed him as the starter over Donnie Davis. The team revolted and even claimed racism on the HC. Luginbill was caught in the middle of that. They went 1-10 with the only win against Western Carolina. O'Leary took over and went back to Davis as his QB. Luginbill transferred to Eastern Kentucky and made 2nd team All-OVC (Ohio Valley Conf.). He has no reason to show any love for GT, but he's holding a severe grudge.
