I remember when we opened against #2 ranked Arizona in BDS. I thought Luginbill looked pretty good in that game, even though we lost. Sadly that was his high point.

I was at that game in the south end zone and at the Western Carolina game in the East stands.

I was only 10 at the time but remember how awesome the atmosphere was for the AZ game.

Me too. I was I think an incoming junior at GT since the game was played right before school started. I remember sitting in the lower east student section and we were winning that game and they came back on us. Totally deflating. I too remember the team splitting about the QB situation and just the general disgust felt by the players. I remember waiting for my PSY class and I overheard Luginbill with a few other players complaining about something re: the team. I don't care what anyone says but that was the lowest point I had ever seen our program in my 32 years following GT.
