Adidas GT Ultraboosts

I snagged these white and gold beauties a couple years ago and love them. You might be able to scrounge around eBay for a pair as they've been discontinued now.

These are the UB's the team wore last year but they never got branded as "GT" ultraboosts. You can still find them new from some resellers.

I'm on the Hoka Mach 5 now. I tend to find a shoe that I like, go through a few pairs, then decide I actually hate it and go find something else. So far so good with this one, though.
I wear the Hoka Arahi 6. Wore the Brooks Ghost line for about 10 years before switching.

Ultraboosts are some of the most comfortable shoes you'll find (though more for everyday use and not necessarily running). I have about a dozen pairs. However, this colorway doesn't really do it for me...

I've been rocking these three pairs for gamedays for the past few seasons:

Have you worn a pair of ultra boosts?
Yeah, and if you pay 200 you've paid about 65-80 too much. Definitely not a 200 shoe. I've got 3 pair, they're comfortable, but I wouldn't have 3 at $200 a pair. Nike Reacts are 2x as comfortable and less of a spend. So are Hokas, and Brooks

Thanks for posting the review. That 10mm drop has my knees already screaming. It'd be a fine wearing around town shoe, but I'll wait and see what the clearance price will be.

If you are looking for something to wear around town or to GT events; you might like these MOAB Flights:

Agreed that anybody paying full price for any (non sneakerhead hype) sneaker is doing it wrong. You can find UBs all over the place for cheaper - ebay and stockx are my go-to's. I usually get mine for around $100. Not hard to do if you know where to look.

RE: Reacts, I've got a few pairs and I like the too, but to me those are more comfortable workout-wise, but I'm taking the Boosts for everyday use all day every day. Brooks are pretty solid. The big arse soles on Hokas look ridiculous. The comfyness isn't enough to make up for that to me.

This here plus Adidas is always giving out promo codes. As you stated, i would wait for these go on sale or use a promo code if you want them for game day

Poshmark is my go to. But I've got size 15 clown feet. Most of the time they're either brand new or someone didn't like the fit and sell them after wearing once (then sterilization begins)

They have Ultraboost all day long for less than 120

Hokas are ridiculous..... they look like they belong on Gump's feet when he wants to go Runnnnning

Gotta love that Team Sand. Nothing reminds me of the Jackets like a big ol' desert full of Team Sand.
