Adidas outbid Nike for the Jackets contract

Here’s the flag boys...

The font in the A-T logo has been showing up a lot lately. Could be our new branded font.

If that’s what it is, I’m not unhappy.

Might be a bit of a rant, but I don't want our "old gold" to be any of the following (from relative worst case scenario to best among them):

1. Mustard yellow like LSU
2. Piss colored, faded gold like it was gold at one time and went through too many washes
3. Flat, matte-finish gold with a layer of dirt/dust on it that can be lined up on a swatch of diarrhea browns (afraid we're approaching this)
4. Bright, shiny, gaudy gold a la ND helmets

I want us to go the route of darker gold = old gold, but still the only thing you can call it is "gold." Calvin's uni is clearly a golden color. Not mustard, not piss. Has some depth and luster to it, not faded.

That is simply the most amazing uniform in sports. I can't for the life me figure out why it was discarded as basically a gimmick, even after all the praise (at least among the Tech online community) it's gotten.

So these flags...any butthurt about the shade? Is it correct? Are they a soft teaser to see if there's any backlash before announcing? I keep seeing them mentioned but nobody mentions how awesome they are or uploaded a pic. Also see where Florida is switching to Jordan.

Are the “ceiling is the roof” Jordan unis part of Nike?

Can not imagine having a football uni with the silhouette of a leaping basketball player on them.

I don't know but whoever decides what we wear needs to be fired. Should've stuck with the 2006 uniforms and wearing Gold at home.

White at home looks fantastic. And the 2006 uniforms are the worst shade of beige urine garbage gold.

The problem with gold is that it’s most often used as a secondary or accent color. So naturally, Tech chooses white and gold as its colors. It’s not surprising that it’s difficult to find a shade of gold that looks halfway decent when used as a primary color.

These are BEAUTIFUL and I always had friends say we had awesome unis back in the day.

Love those. Here is a pic of who I think is former walk on, Troy Garside. The gold is sweet.

Those are the Vegas gold everyone bitched about at the time. When made of cotton or other materials, the color looks awful and milky.
