Just another Saturday night in Baton Rouge.

Does anyone else remember 15-20 years ago, when a play over 10 yards brought some energy from play-by-play guys? I wonder if the decline in popularity of football has anything to do with the fact that a crucial 12 yard play is announced with the same excitement as an MLB 2nd inning ground out.

"..but it remains one of my favorite places to visit in Connecticut despite the constant accusations of sexual misconduct. 16 yard gain there by Martin, into the red zone with three minutes remaining in the half. Kirk, have you noticed the same influx of federal officers around daycare centers in Hartford?"
