All Time Tech Starting Lineup

Godsey probably had Lothridge speed, there is film from that era.
Billy was quick not fast,he had a odd way of running with the ball and looked like he was falling down but the yard lines kept going by.He was just the guy to go to when you were in trouble. Can you imagine a player who had to run a offense and then punt and then when it gets tight kick FGS.He could do it all and did.

Its official. You're a ****ing idiot. And my point went so far over your ****ing retared head, it ain't worth repeating anymore. Lets line up every GT fan on the planet and ask them their opinion and lets see what you get. Poll time settles it!
Of course it will and I am wondering how a man of your vast knowledge didnt think of it before now.Evidently there are more forty to fifty folks here than over sixty so who do you think will win.

OF COURSE IT WILL HELP YOUR EGO BUT WHEN YOU DONT USE EYE WITNESS REPORTS AND ONLY STATS YOU ARE GETTING PRETTY LOW.HEY I WILL TELL THE OLD GUYS TO LET YOU ALONE SINCE YOUR RABBIT EARS ARE SHOWING.

Where did I say that? Go read the thread. I give Lothridge plenty of due. But when people tell me he was better than Hamilton, sorry, I have to laugh. Hamilton was on a different planet. Guys like Hamilton come around once in a 100 years and its evident by the record books.

You better keep laughing to keep from crying when Lothridge comes up.You never saw him live and yet you are a the sole trier of fact.Dont think even you are that conceited dude.Billy Cool is the one so admit it and be done with it.

O'Leary said "You won't see another one like him in 20 years".

Just had to interject....
Of course after Billy we didnt have a great one until Joe.Remember jBilly graduated in sixty three and we had a long spell of so so qbs.Joe was a good one no doubt but no Lothridge.

Wait...

...

You're saying that the only reason that Godsey beat Joe's Total Offense numbers from 1996-1998 was because he COULDN'T run?

:dunno:

OK.
I am telling you his stats and his opinion have failed in the face of facts. If he is a fact man then Goose should be the best.Facts and figures are easy to move around to suit you or they not.

Let's just tell it like it IS----stinger's Goose/Lothridge analogies equates to a knock-out punch! We probably beat LSU, even with their physical superiority, by 10-14 points with Lothridge vs Goose. And this from someone who loved da Goose!

I do believe with Billy in the game it would have been different.

Two old ****s bitching back and forth like Statler and Waldorf ...

BOR, time to change your Avatar.

Let me tell you there has never been a player who was the QB, def end, safety or what ever that I didn't love. I loved for giving it their all and they played thru blood, sweat and tears. God Bless em ALL.

Can u see Godsey as an NFL DB in any era !?
i THINK THE GOOSE WAS NOT BLESSED WITH MUCH ATHLETIC WISE BUT A WARRIOR HEART AND A ABILITY TO READ DEFENSES.HE HAS LITTLE SPEED AND LOOK AWKWARD AT TIMES BUT MAN COULD HE PLAY.I THINK OF ALL THE QBS WE HAVE HAD HE DID THE MOST WITH LESS.HE WAS A WINNER.

I have never BOOOed a player and never will--now--REFs are a different story.

I agree, when I was coaching never got in a guys face unless he was not trying.Kids today dont need alot of the scorn they get from the public. Now as you say Ref,they are different since they get paid but even then if a ref made a call and could tell me on the sidelines why he made it I didnt say much but when a call was out of his view I get alittle pissed.
