Are We Even Making A Pitch For Fields?

There was an audio interview with Kelly Quinlan on 680 the fan and he confirmed that CGC is “actively recruiting” Justin Fields. Same with Aubrey Solomon, though Solomon ended up going to UT.

If you were CGC though, what would your pitch be to get Fields here over places like Ohio State, Oklahoma, FSU, etc.? That is our competition right now.

Chance to prove yourself head to head against Jake Fromm and your old school. Can't say that about any of those other schools.

It’s rare that you can directly get revenge on those who wrong you. uGA stole a year of your eligibility. Beat them 3 years in a row and be the reason they don’t make the playoffs to remind them of what they did to you.

You will be unequivocally the best QB on this roster and the guy. Whereas at the blue bloods you will be one of several highly ranked highly capable QBs and will have to actively earn and keep your job?
 
Why are you guys so obsessed with taking a dwag QB?

The guy is either not very bright or not very self aware if he thought he could come in and beat both Fromm and Eason immediately. Either one is not a great quality for a QB.

He's 6-3 230+ with a strong accurate arm

Imagine Joe Ham at 6-3 230lbs

Guys that don't care about competition are alpha male types and have that warrior spirit that coaches look for
 
Can't get hung up on one transfer or recruit. Have to get better in general. More 4 star guys mixed in with some skilled identification of prospects with untapped potential. That is our path.
