Then they wouldn't need to worry about 14-day quarantines keeping players out during fall camp and the regular season. It would be hard to convince anybody of that, though, since most people think half the team would die.

What if a player on a team tests positive for Covid-19 during the season? Do you then have to test the entire team? What if like 20+ people on the team are positive? Do they all have to miss the game and you lose?
I could see this getting very weird. It seems like you want to avoid testing all your players during the season. And quarantine them from school.
