I, for one, am glad our guys are coming back in waves instead of all at once. Much easier to mitigate the risk of mass spreading if some check back in and test positive.

So about 5%? Sounds about right. Test any population and you will get a few percent...

"...The five players who tested positive were not expected to see the field which coincidentally opens up five scholarships for higher rated recruits."

To be honest, they should probably just have a "pox party" and get the whole team infected now. Then they wouldn't need to worry about 14-day quarantines keeping players out during fall camp and the regular season. It would be hard to convince anybody of that, though, since most people think half the team would die.

After we weed out the players who test positive to covid, the ones who don’t wanna play because BLM and those stung by murder hornets, we can field teams of 26 in the fall. That might level the playing field for us actually.

What if a player on a team tests positive for Covid-19 during the season? Do you then have to test the entire team? What if like 20+ people on the team are positive? Do they all have to miss the game and you lose?

I could see this getting very weird. It seems like you want to avoid testing all your players during the season. And quarantine them from school.

The GT police officer who died recently was 42 and I’m not aware he had other comorbidities. Obviously no players in that range but coaches are. Good news nobody else on GT police force caught it from him.

We should start calling college football games BLM protests, that way no chance of being shut down.
