Cool thing about college football is you just don't know. We could play a great game and beat Clemson, no doubt. They are not so far ahead in talent that we have no shot.

All the pressure is on Clem...no expectations for us. That has historically been bad news for Clem in this game.

I still don't think we are a very good football team. Better than last year, but should not win on Thursday.

That is absolutely ridiculous. An injury to a starter is a setback.

And despite the Clempson rednecks blaming the loss on Stoudt, he was as good as, if not better than, Watson that year. Stoudt started more games, and led them to several big victories, including a curb stomping of Oklahoma in the bowl game.

We had a beast pass defense that year in case you have forgotten. We won that game, Clemson didn't lose it.
 
Now we had a great D in 2014. CPJ himself refuted that idea in commentary this week.

Stoudt completed 3 passes to his guys, and 3 to us. The 3 to us led to at least 10 pts. Watson competed 5 in the time he played and it sure looks easy. And it looked easy again in 2015, and we were only missing Pat that day.

What are you talking about? We were down 7 going into the game and 3 additional go out during the game.

Troll on I guess. You are one miserable dude. How else would you blame the QB rather than credit our defense for solid play. Perhaps you remember some of our other interceptions that year? Probably not.

This dude only shows up in dire times. After a 3-0 start, this is his last gasp of the season. Don't worry - after we curb stomp the tater heads, he will disappear again.

Football is a team sport. We were awful on offense due to the injuries. 12 first downs and 1-12 on 3rd down. Couldn't stay on the field on offense. That will cause the defense to get gassed. Pretty basic stuff.

The Clem play calling in the 14 game was awful. There was no way Watson finished that game. He was getting tattooed after every run.

They seemed to learn their lesson in 15 and let the RBs absorb more of the hits.
 
At the end of the day i think this contest should be a lot closer than in 15. At full strength it would have been close in 14.

Certainly we were hurt in 15, not so much on D, but the O could not stay on the field. The entire squad was mentally beaten by mid November 2015.

This year it looks to be a good battle, and i think they line moving toward Tech is equitable. I think a point spread of 8 would be about right.
