It was reported today, the B1G/sec will meet next week to work on a scheduling agreement and put together a proposal starting in 2026 for each league to be “guaranteed” 4 bids to the CFP (with up to 6 teams getting in).

It’s time the ACC/B12 get together and figure out how to be a strong #3 with some power. Otherwise they can continue as is letting those 2 leagues control all decisions.

Will be weird when the BigSec, the final merger of the two 60-team megaconferences, brings all the teams back under one umbrella with the NCAA stuck on the outside looking in.

Maybe when that happens the conference can have named subdivisions by geography, and teams within each subdivision play each other to reduce travel and bolster regional rivalries.

We could be the Atlanta Airport Division. Will include Clemson, Georgie, Bammer, GStU, GSU, UNC, NC State, Wake Forrest, Vandy and Tennessee

it's kind of like streaming services .. one of these days they will combine all the streaming platforms in to one for easy acces. it shall be called basic cable.

Therefore, all they have to do is get their lapdog media to ensure 10-15 of their teams are ranked in the preseason polls, and then they are guaranteed to get all 12 of those spots, as they beat one another but never fall out of the top 15.
Genius, diabolical, and totally predictable.

The Rusted Muffler Division. UGA, Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, Clemson, Ole Miss, Miss. St., FSU, Ark., and LSU.

The Gulf Floods Division:
Miami, Florida, FSU, LSU, UCF, Houston, Tulane, South Florida, U of Houston, and Valdosta State

Now that's it's truly a pay for play "association" (You can "call" it whatever you want, NIL, Renumeration Athletic Fund, Stipend, Athlete Monetary Support Program....whatever. It's the same thing. You play - We pay) Just a matter of time till the NCAA, or whatever "association" the haves decide to create, will soon be subject to all the wonderful federal laws regarding anti-trust, collusion, racketeering etc. They are currently operating in the wild wild west and know it. Gott'a get it while the gettin's good.
