Thats what you pay if you get the pass with your season tickets, which said tickets cost $2075 for 3 seats for this year (seat license, tickets, parking). Thats not cheap. And no I don't want to park at Atlantic Station and walk and sit in the upper North.

And all the lots on Spring Street at $20 for just drive in parking too.

My dad used to park for free and just walk. Now a bunch of us tailgate and he gladly pays the (relatively low compared to other schools) price for a prime spot on campus.

I agree that isn't cheap. But it is relatively cheap, compared to what the same money will get you at other schools.

Next someone can bring up Vanderbilt. This is where this always goes.
 
Was anyone at the coaching caravan thing last night? Did it come up?

AJC is reporting that the 2013/2014 series between GT and Bama has been "postponed." At least they didnt' say "cancelled." No reasons are given in the article.

My friends in Tuscaloosa say Saban admitted that Bama wimped out. He said when they scheduled us they thought they'd face a Chan Gailey-caliber team, but now they don't think they could handle us on top of their SEC schedule. They're going to postpone the series until after Groh is too old to possibly coach our defense.

I bet we were having trouble filling a single open date, and this gives us more flexibility to have a 2 home/1 road setup with another school.
 
A pity really. This would've been a good and highly anticipated "series."

I figure the series will take place in 2030 or something like that. I was looking forward to the trip over and their trip here.

I was really disappointed when Army cancelled a few years back. I has already searched hotels and my wife, who HATES football, was onboard for what we figured would be an incredible experience.

This sucks and does nothing but make GT look bad. We need the reputation. Folks see Alabama as a power whether they play us or FIU. We needed this game.

We didn't back out. Think for a minute. Why would Drad possibly want a game that would be leveraged to sell more season tickets and fan excitement off of the schedule? Is CPJ afraid of playing the children of the corn?
 
Becasue GT had been invited back to the SEC in the realignment. Clearing the future schedules makes it easier.
