BCS NC Thread

A bit harsh for the QB. A true freshman quarterback in a National Title game is just way too harsh an environment. Hope Texas fans don't do something stupid and boo him later.

Look at it this way, the kid has a headstart on the '10 season.

This.

That kid was probably looking forward to a night of watching Colt McCoy play. No way he's prepared for what he's been shoved into. Texas says they have a plan for playing without McCoy, but it isn't getting enough support from the ball catchers or pass rush defenders to matter.

Sad sad sad.

You know what, what a disaster these BCS bowls have been from an entertainment perspective. Sugar and BCS Title game will be one sided bitch slapping's for various reasons, Fiesta and Orange was a showcase of struggling offenses (Iowa's did at various points). Only the Rose bowl was truly entertaining.

Around the Horn alluded to this yesterday. Said(paraphrasing), "The 40 day layoff is ridiculous. Look at the TCU and GT offenses. Red hot in late November, not so much in January."

I'd rather McCoy be in it right now to see how Bama would do against their offense. Would they be ahead by this much had McCoy stayed in?
