Beeware, Hello, O'Leary Sold Us Out

Re: Beeware, Hello, O\'Leary Sold Us Out

BeeWare...as usual you just don't get the point.

Many posters like O'Leary. Many were upset that he left. Some have turned on him, some have chosen to close the door on that chapter of Tech history. Personally I liked him when he was here, I'm not really worried about him since he chose to leave.

Many are not totally comfortable with the way the coaching selection went. Some liked Mac, some wanted others, most seem to be happy with Gailey.

Some don't like Braine. Some look at our results the last few years and do.

EVERYONE knows what you think. EVERYONE would like to know how every topic can be brought back to 2 things.. you don't like Braine or Gailey. You manage to get that in every post you make.

MOST WOULD LIKE FOR YOU TO SHUT UP. WE KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. YOU CAN SAY "I TOLD YOU SO" ALL YOU LIKE IF GAILEY DOESN'T WIN. UNTIL THAT HAPPENS WE DON'T REALLY CARE.

If you really love Tech you will understand that your constant carping does the Institute no good. If you continue to keep this crap up you will have lost any credibility you still have left (not much IMO).

You have your right to post your opinion. The rest of us have the right to tell you what we think.

Re: Beeware, Hello, O\'Leary Sold Us Out

I didn't start this thread and I didn't change the topic.
There are differences of opinion. Makes the world go around.

Re: Beeware, Hello, O\'Leary Sold Us Out

Bwear, just answer one question. You're a EE right? Yes or no.

Re: Beeware, Hello, O\'Leary Sold Us Out

beeware, just a question. What did we do to former bigbee to make him seem so bitter towards us?

Re: Beeware, Hello, O\'Leary Sold Us Out

GOL sold us out and as said he dropped us like a hot brick. My friends at ND told me several time even as early as Oct that GOL was their next coach. I dutifuly reported it on the Hive and was roundly chastised for my comments. I have wondered why GOL often called stupid yes I said stupid plays when the game was in hand and resulted in losses. So BW quit making GOL into a football God and shut up and just get on with program.

Re: Beeware, Hello, O\'Leary Sold Us Out

Well BW, I saw Dodd in his 2nd (as I recall) year at Tech so yes I'm probably double your age and have probably seen more Tech games than most have even thought about. But to get to the point.

GOL sold us out lock stock and barrel period. In doing so he inadvertantly sold himself out. He was not the end all. I'm for giving CG breathing room which you seem not to want to do. So let just get on with the program and if and I'm beginning to think thats a big if you are a Tech fan lighten up and support our guys win or lose.

Re: Beeware, Hello, O\'Leary Sold Us Out

OF,
I always have and always will support the jackets win or lose. We have a different opinion on O'leary and Gailey and maybe other things too. That is fine. I am not trying to quash your opinion...and it is silly of you and others to try to quash mine or any other opinion that is different from yours. This herd mentality that started on the hive and has ended up over here where y'all gang up and try to beat to death any differing opinion is patently ridiculous, counter-productive, very unnecessary, and cannot nor will not work.
Go Jackets.

Re: Beeware, Hello, O\'Leary Sold Us Out

BW no I am not trying nor do I think any others on this board are trying to quash your opinions. I know I am certainly not. However, since we have heard them many time and you have made your point numerous times Most the folks who post here and on the Hive (including me) are ready to give CG and Braine a chance are just a little tired of hearing them again and again and again. I will support anyone whom ever it is who is trying to lead the Tech faithful and above all the players as they are the ones who leaves it all on the field.

Just a personal note to "Old Foggy" for your sensible contributions to the board and your faithful patronage of GT athletics. Thank you, sir.

Re: Beeware, Hello, O\'Leary Sold Us Out

GoL is gone and that should be the end of this tune. He was good for GT but conversely GT was better for GoL. The only further mention I want of GoL is when he pays the $1.5 mil he incurred when he broke his contract.

CG has a very unique distinction at the present time and that he the only person who has the title of HEAD FOOTBALL COACH @ THE GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Flash, no one can take this away at the present time.
