My... My.. .What a thread.... and by the way... there is a football game Saturday....
I dont think there is anything I can add here... and dont really know that I care too... but I am anyway...
I think the REAL problem is that when you have a board such as this... in a way you sort of expect the same behavior that you would if you were at the stadium, or anywhere ... people make remarks... root for their team... have their opinions... etc.. but ...usually... there is always a degree of respect given, a degree of civility ....
People are always going to disagree, even when their interests are homogenous... its the way they disagree that determines whether they move forward as a unit or split apart.... I dont want to speak for the moderators, but I would think that is the biggest danger facing this board... people getting tired of the same crap and going their own ways... I know I wouldnt want to tune in every week to see who is up to getting kicked off the island, or to continually hear how great the previous coaching staff was... thats yesterday's news.... they are gone !!
Differning opinions are a good thing... name calling and acting like a child isnt. I think what bothers most on this board is that, at times, there seems to be a general lack of respect for others posting. And, that every thread somehow goes back to the same issue... involving either Mac or GOL...
And, there seems to be a lack of care for any detriment that his/her posts will cause (recruits that may be reading the board, players that may be reading this board, or the person on the other end of the topic)
I certainly dont mind a differing opinion... thats part of the value I find here... but even watching the same commercial gets tiring after awhile... I long ago grew tired of the Gailey, GOL, coaching rhetoric, and just assumed that Beeware was just a Georgia fan in Old Gold garb...I accepted that just like I accepted that O'Leary left us for ND... you live with it and go on...

The purpose of the poll is to show that its not "every member" vs. Beeware. Beeware has his supporters. I get e-mail from people calling for Beeware's head and I get e-mail defending him. The poll shows that its divided pretty even. My concern is not what Beeware says, or even how he says it. My only concern is its effect on my website. I assure you that if it becomes obvious that we are failing to grow because of beeware, he will become a casualty of war. I have explained this to him. So whether or not he is serious, or whether or not he is just "yanking your chains", it is HE that is in peril. So we allow him to play his dangerous game and he knows the consequences.

beeware. you keep sounding like everyone bashes you, but you don't seem to understand that you're normally the one doing the bashing. You do talk about football some, if you counted the post you were talking football against the post you were bashing on the board, how would it turn out? You're more of a basher that a football fan if you ask me. That's just my opinion.
