Bennett vs Reggie....

At least 14 of UVA's points came off of turnovers. The defense came out sucking but settled down just fine.

On Nesbitt: There's a big chance he is just another RB Redux...he wasn't recruited that much as a QB out of HS and from what I hear he has a strong but erratic arm, sound familiar?

Please refrain from comapring Bennett to Ball. There is no comparison, I'd take Bennett any day of the week.

Amen to both points brotha.

We are forgeting what Reggie could do! When it was long yard situations he could get it with his feet.

I often wonder where he got his reputation for being fast ... I still remember Clemson / FSU / UGA D-lineman easily catching him and horsecollaring him to the turf. The NFL draft 40 numbers bared this for all to see as he was easily outpaced by 240 lb'ers.

Reggie Ball sucks and is slow and short and couldn't throw a forward pass to save his life. Period. When the ineptitude and stature of your QB completely takes 50% of the AVAILABLE FOOTBALL FIELD out of the passing playbook YOUR QB SUCKS. Where the blame lies for starting him is another argument entirely ...

I don't think Bennett is Dan Marino but at least you can have a passing playbook with more then:

Fade Out - Right
Fade Out - Left
HB Screen - Right
HB Screen - Left
QB Draw

He ran a 4.4 out of high school. He is pretty quick, but I think he was hampered by injury when he ran his 40 at the combine.

According to rivals or scout (can't remember which one) he ran a 4.55, the exact same time as Nesbitt actually.

Dwyer is listed as a 4.4 on one and a 4.5 on another, no way you can tell me that Ball is as fast as Dwyer. I would guess Ball's true time is in the high 4.5's to even low 4.6. Anybody remember what he ran at the combine? I seem to remember is was a lot slower that I thought it'd be.
