Minor correction. He ran away from 10 of our eleven defenders. He ran through Mark Pike.

Yes, he was, and still is. I was his student chaperone during the recruiting visit and got to know him fairly well.
GTAA did it a little differently back then. The original Solid Gold was made up of student leaders who assisted in recruiting.
I guess because we only had about 5-10 "hot" females at the time, and that's probably a stretch.

His mom worked at the BSU on campus. Olympics didn't turn out like they had hoped, I think he was favored going in. I don't remember him having much of an impact as a football player though. Football was more like an experiment that didn't pan out.
