We were as competitive than LSU was, regardless of the score, and with a 3rd string QB at that. To me, "competitive" means they had to exert themselves to win the game. I think UGA finally had to do that with us this season. I think it will be better next season. They'll lose the following starters from this years' team:I wouldn't say we were really competitive with them last season. We were competitive for a half, yes, which is better than most teams were, but it's tough for me to look at a 37-14 score and say that it was a competitive game. I'd like to see us within two scores before I start calling us competitive with them.
And now the word "competitive" has lost all meaning in my mind. Competitive. Competitive. Competitive.

You cannot just replace that many key starters two years IAR and not feel it.
