Big news coming

Not to split hairs or anything but when a college position coach moves up to the NFL, that’s not a “…staff shake up”. That’s a guy getting a better job and moving on.

The NFL is requiring each team to make a diversity hire on the offensive staff this year. I assume that is an additional coach not accounted for and we should expect similar hires from other teams in the coming weeks.

Hope coach makes the best of the opportunity.

Yeah. I thought a staff shake up meant CGC was being fired and we were hiring CUM. So sue me. Or better yet sue KQ.

Tee Martin is the WR coach for the Ravens so this is not that

What exactly makes you think TC would make a good head coach? He has experience as an RB coach and that’s it. He may make a great head coach one day, but right now there’s no evidence that he would make a great head coach TODAY.

Isn't that true of every person who has ever been promoted to head coach? I am not arguing for TC to be hired as head coach; but the argument above sounds weak.

And Dabo is a clown who went from WR coach to HC.

I think the formula is to have an excellent recruiter for HC who surrounds themselves with (and empowers) elite coordinators to handle game planning. CGC meets half those criteria. His insistence on hiring who he knows and Tech men to coordinators and position coaches is what undercuts his recruiting success IMO.
