Disagree. With our SoS, a 12-1 Tech team with its sole loss in week 3 is in.
You're full of sh**
Have you told TCU about your idea?
Did TCU join a league with a conference championship game?

I think that, for a lot of reasons, this is one of the biggest games in a looooong time.
1) It's the first time we've ever been considered even a longshot NC contender in the PJ era. Winning Saturday would put us firmly in the position of contender.
2) We've played plenty of tough games, but it doesn't get much more "prime time" than Notre Dame. Lots of people will be watching, and most of them will probably be cheering for us.
3) A win Saturday would be a big first step to change the perception of the program, which could really help recruiting.
Thoughts? When's the last time we had a game this big?
I don't think a 1-loss ACC team will make it into the playoff; I think the implication of a win is that we shoot up in the ranking and join (somewhat) the Playoff conversation.
Sorry man, I just have never lived in a world where Georgia Tech football gets a break.
You tell me which 4 get picked:
Alabama
Ohio State OR Michigan State
Baylor OR TCU
USC OR Oregon
Georgia Tech
If you think a 12-1 Tech team gets in over a 12-1 Oregon team, then there's no reason to continue this. Actually, there is no reason to continue this. Agree to disagree.

To me,what victory would you trade for this win THIS yr?
I would rather beat ND than any other team except uga this yr.
I fear that a significant portion of our fanbase will slit their wrists if we lose this game, which we very well could.
I also say none. NC is probably not an achievable goal anyway, do we really have the defense required? But even if you lose, all goals are still on the table, even a magical 11-1 run to the playoff. What are the implications of this game? I say none.
We lose, doesn't impact our ability to win the ACC. We can easily go on and win out after a ND loss and be in the playoff.
