They tore down the old south because those seats were really in disrepair and I think the feeling in the mid 80’s was that we needed to use the space and we weren’t going to sell enough tickets to justify building new stands there. Is it time to reassess that? Who knows

They upped their donations x3 and got a few national titles and a lot of wins against their rivals and other SEC teams out of it.

We have to find a way to sell our donors on Athletic donations. Give T-Stan the hot leads list!

Yes Stanford grads haven’t been able to hold their head up high at all recently due to the football success.

Already did. And I upgraded my seats to the best they would let me have...because the club seats were all spoken for....even if 1/2 of those appear to never come to the games.

The vacant club seats are frustrating. I was prepared to move from lower-upper east to club, but I was put on a waiting list and told that, while I qualify points wise to purchase club seats on even years, I don’t have enough points to purchases club seats on odd (UGA) years, unless I donate at a certain level -more than I’d care to donate at this time. I like my current seats, had them for years, aisle seating, so I don’t care to move elsewhere unless it’s club. And even then, from a sight line perspective, I still like where I’m at, but would move.

Disappointing to hear him say that he turned down 6-7 P5 jobs because the "timing wasn't right" or because "it wasn't the right fit." How about because you loved being at GT?

"Do you regret not taking some other offers?" "Well, hindsight is 20/20."

Claims to be satisfied with his tenure and has nothing left to prove – but obviously is not happy with the way things ended

I've never heard of this even-year/odd-year reseating. You mean they would kick you out of your seats in UGA years? That's whack.

When I had the discussion with a GTAA rep it was my understanding that yes, although I’d go on a waiting list anyway, I would qualify to purchase even year, but wouldn’t qualify for odd. Since, as @daBuzz alluded to, there are no tickets available anyway, I didn’t pursue any further.

I have a friend, GT grad who lives in Seneca, SC, who gives me a pair of his club seats once every couple of years or so, to games he’s not planning to attend. The last two times I’ve sat in club, CL 3 was maybe half full.

PJ is a great coach, but his tenure at GT was not as successful as it could have been, and certainly not as much as I'm sure he wanted it to be. I think he expected 2014 type seasons to be the norm, and was frustrated when lots of things (some in his control, some not) prevented that from happening.

Either way, I think going with a program salesman was a good idea. We badly needed to revitalize our brand. It may end up backfiring if we lose the coaching edge we had, but we had to try something different.

People are coaches before they come to GT. Was he referring to offers that came in during his time at GT?

I need CPJ to go full heel and figure out a way to trash talk GT just enough that to spite him they open up the purse and go all in. Maybe a book and tour event to let him get some publicity. Get a few spots on the ACCN. Get his name leaked for some of these high profile job openings just to get another run in the news cycle. Make GT great again.

After that, I want to see CPJ coach at a school that wants to win and lets him get nasty with his offense again. I know he said it'd take a perfect scenario. Going back to Ga Southern would be nice. Based on comments here, they still like him there. He could have them winning that conference again and getting the bid as highest G6 team bid to bowl. I also think he'd be great at NC State. That fan base seems like they could embrace him and his style. Selfishly, I just wanna know all the other schools that have called him over the years toying with the idea of going flexbone.
