Bowling!

idk if I'm that confident beating 11-2 sun belt conference champion
We could annihilate them 223-0 and we still will begin next season unranked and with zero votes. The good news is, we might earn one or two by upsetting what could very well be a Defending Self-Appointed National Champion in Florida State.

I would have been happy with it at the beginning of the season. So there's that. But being 4th in the ACC, it's disappointing. FSU getting screwed and ND taking a slot screwed us.
Conference rank means dick all now from what I understand. Being 6-6 and Georgia Tech is what got us the bowl we did.

Troy probably disappointed too. They went 11-2, won their conference, can't even get a bowl out of their state. And they get a tough 6-6 opponent

It’s one of the only ACC bowl games that I can’t go to because of pre-Christmas travel. Ludicrous for the #4 team in the conference to fall to like the 12th best bowl. We get ööööed every time we make a bowl game.

I realized the same in 2005. We beat Miami and Auburn, went 7-4 and wound up playing Utah (MWC at the time) in the Emerald Bowl. We always get hosed for bowls.

Some of you will bitch no matter what. We weren’t getting Gator Bowl so our options were either New York in a fucking baseball stadium 3 days before New Years or playing 2 hours from Atlanta where Tech fans shouldn’t have an excuse to not show up.
